About Ron Chapman
R. William Chapman II is a constitutional lawyer and former U.S. Marine Corps judge advocate. He served in Afghanistan as an operational law and detention officer. He draws on his military and legal experience in writing about the obligations of officers, the treatment of prisoners, and the decisions people make under orders.
As a federal criminal defense attorney, Chapman has handled complex cases involving terrorism, public corruption, drug trafficking, and organized crime. His legal analysis has appeared on BBC News, Fox News, Fox Business, NewsNation, and other national outlets.
He hosts Off Air, where he discusses law, government, technology, and politics. His books include the historical novel Empyrean and the nonfiction bestsellers Fight the Feds and Truth & Persuasion.
